After development of a sound technical strategy with the legal team, EnvApps is prepared to support litigation efforts by providing the following services:

Example Projects:
Technical Strategy & Forensic Analysis - Assisted legal team of the property owner of an industrial site impacted by chlorinated solvents by two tenants over the last 30 years. EnvApps conducted forensic evaluation of the impact and developed a technical strategy to establish environmental liability.
Expert Witness - EnvApps served as an expert witness for a service station operator in litigation against the property owners and a major oil company.
Expert Witness - Expert witness for former drycleaner operator in litigation against property owners.
Remediation Cost Preparation - EnvApps has performed remedial cost estimate services and provided written opinions in support of a site owner for the Federal Bankruptcy Court. The original tenant (a major US corporation) had impacted the property over years of operation, declared bankruptcy in another state, and left the property owner as the responsible party for future remediation.
RCRA Part B Closure - Conducted RCRA Part B closure for a former chemical facility under contract to a Court-appointed receiver. Project was funded by forfeiture bond under control of DTSC.
Purchase Review – Client was in the process of purchasing a company that declared it had never utilized PCE on the property. EA was contracted by the Client’s attorney, reviewed files at the RWQCB, and produced a manifest for delivery of the solvent to the company’s main facility. The purchase was terminated.
